Medical assistance
Viking co-ordinate medical cases by telephone in Norway on behalf of international assistance companies. Typically, organisation and ordering of medical assistance (doctor), hospitalisation, home transport, luggage etc.
Within the medical assistance area we are a full service provider and can upon request arrange house calls, medical contact reports, and translation of documents and cost control.
In Norway, ambulance services are mainly a public concern. Due to a relatively low number of ambulances in Norway as compared to European standards, the ambulance control centres will firmly supervise this activity, both with regard to cars in use and those held in readiness.
